About Wild Sea Cornwall
Artistic Journey
My art is inspired living in Cornwall near the coast being by the sea and the feelings and emotions this evokes. It’s wild untamed beauty, dynamic and often foreboding. The weather unpredictable, and uncompromising.
I have studied at Newyln school of art and have enjoyed working alongside other artists who’ve also inspired me. Exhibiting and selling some of my work at the Tremenheere Gallery.
About my art
I’ve been using recycled sails. The sails have a story.
I look to capture their beauty, uniqueness and breathe a new life and love into them.
Canvas and textured board with sand and other materials also helps me to express the raw nature of the coast and where I feel appropriate will introduce other media although predominantly my work is using oil paints.
